Shaping the future together – sustainable tourism in Laos
From October to December 2025, we supported the implementation of an ASA project on sustainable tourism in Northern Laos. The project demonstrated how international cooperation, local knowledge, and the engagement of young people can create meaningful impulses for sustainable development.
Learning that connects
The ASA program provides young people with the opportunity to understand global interconnections not just theoretically, but also by actively participating in practical projects. At BanSenSuk, we view this type of learning as a key element of sustainable development and specifically support students and trainees in taking responsibility and gaining new perspectives.
Strong local partnerships
Two German students from the fields of Tourism Management and International Development worked closely with the Green Environment Conservation Team (GECT) in Luang Prabang. Together with this long-standing partner, based at the NAFC agricultural college, a valuable space for exchange, learning, and mutual inspiration was created.
