The International Seminar addresses the potentials and challenges of agroecopreneurship as a pathway to adapt to and to mitigate climate change. The agroecopreneurship movement is still new and volatile, given the powerful agri-food-business actors and settings. Participants discuss the collaborative efforts of research farmers, agroecopreneurs, scientists, and other value chain actors to mobilise for the transformation of our food systems.
Keynote speakers will be Nick Jacobs, Director International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food) and Maria Rowena A. Buena, Regional Coordinator for MASIPAG Luzon, IFOAM PGS Committee. Acroecopreneurs from the Netherlands, Kenya, and Indonesia present and discuss their experiences.
The seminar will be held on 24th May 2022 in a hybrid format – offline (in Java, Indonesia) and online (via Zoom).
10 am- 12.30 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
11 am- 13.30 pm EAT (Eastern African Time)
15 pm- 17.30 pm WIB (Western Indonesian Time) – same to time zone in Laos (ICT)

Das internationale Seminar befasst sich mit den Potenzialen und Herausforderungen des Agroökopreneurtums als Weg zur Anpassung an den Klimawandel und zur Eindämmung des Klimawandels. Die Agroökopreneurship-Bewegung ist angesichts der mächtigen Akteure und Rahmenbedingungen der Agrar- und Lebensmittelindustrie noch neu und volatil. Die Teilnehmer:innen diskutieren die gemeinsamen Bemühungen von forschenden Landwirten, Agrarökounternehmern, Wissenschaftlern und anderen Akteuren der Wertschöpfungskette, um für die Transformation unserer Ernährungssysteme zu mobilisieren.
Hauptreferent:innen sind Nick Jacobs, Direktor des International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food) und Maria Rowena A. Buena, Regionalkoordinatorin für MASIPAG Luzon, IFOAM PGS Committee. Agroökopreneure aus den Niederlanden, Kenia und Indonesien präsentieren und diskutieren ihre Erfahrungen.
